Dr. János Lipovics lawyer and member of the Budapest Bar Association.
I studied law at the Faculty of Law of Pázmány Péter Catholic University, graduated cum laude in 2013. My studies focused on criminal law, and I wrote my thesis on the death penalty and life imprisonment, entitled “The most severe punishment”. After graduation, I worked as a trainee lawyer in the law office of my former university teacher, the nationally renowned and respected criminal lawyer Dr. Balázs Móritz, and after passing my exams with distinction, I established an independent practice in 2018.
During my career, I have been actively involved in the resolution of hundreds of cases, typically criminal, acting as a defence counsel or victim’s advocate. My clients include private individuals, small, medium and large companies, social organisations, health and educational institutions, and even – and this is a great honour – fellow lawyers.
I communicate fluently in English with my foreign clients.
