legislative monitoring

Legislative monitoring

Today’s legislative overload, the constantly changing and less transparent legal environment is making it more and more difficult for economic operators to see through and comply with legal requirements while carrying out their professional activities.

This is particularly true for the health sector, which is going through a period of transformation. Recognising this, since opening my office I have been involved in providing legislative monitoring services – primarily to hospitals, private clinics and other organisations.

The system I have developed is based on a face-to-face consultation to assess the legislative environment (e.g. all legislation affecting in-patient care) and the needs of the client, followed by summaries, even sent on a daily basis, to inform the client of current changes and to provide further consultation as required.

Benefits of the legislative monitoring service:

  • The Client can see the exact legal environment governing its activities at all times, greatly reducing the legal risks and uncertainties of its operations;
  • No need for internal resources: no need to expand the team or to burden the “in-house lawyer” or, where appropriate, a layperson, with legislative monitoring;
  • Costs can be accurately calculated in advance due to the fixed (monthly) fee for the service, and are much more affordable than individual lawyer retainer fees or hourly rates.
