The purchase of a property or the start-up of a company is a milestone in every person’s life, and I am lucky to be able to be present and help my clients at such momentous occasions. However, it should be remembered that such milestones can also be fraught with risk, with known and unknown pitfalls. But with experience, attention and precision, these risks can be minimised. The key is to treat each client and each transaction as unique. I do not have “template contracts”, I negotiate each case individually on all relevant issues: this is the only way to create a “tailor-made” legal solution for each party. Flexibility and client focus are also important to me. In this respect, I usually have no problem if the urgency of the case requires me to reorganise my office hours, or if I have to travel to the client’s premises, and I am open to individual solutions regarding the lawyer’s fees.
